Why should I come to Wellbeing of My Baby for my scan?
Here at Wellbeing of my Baby, we love creating unforgettable experiences for both expecting parents and their families, but the health of baby is our primary focus.
The majority of our patients have either been to us before or have been recommended by friends and family, which shows in our reviews on Google!
As we are governed by The Care Quality Commission, you can rest assured that your scan will be undertaken in a clean and safe environment, with staff who are all appropriately qualified and trained to give you the optimal level of care.
Is there a minimum age that I need to be to come for a scan?
Unfortunately we cannot scan anyone under the age of 18 within the clinic.
Can I bring my friends, family and children to the scan?
We usually welcome family and friends to appointments, and allow up to four extra people (excluding yourself and your partner) as it’s a lovely experience to share; however, please see our Coronavirus Preventative Measures on the main website for further up to date information on this.
What do I need to do before my scan?
It’s useful to come for a full bladder so that we can get the best possible view of your baby. Please otherwise eat and drink as normal. It can also be a good idea to bring a chocolate bar or something sugary to have if baby is not in a favourable position on the day!
Will you tell me if you find a problem?
Ultimately, the wellbeing of yourself and your baby is our highest priority.
For this reason, if any problem were identified during your scan, you would be informed by your Sonographer so that you can be checked at your next midwife/ hospital appointment. With your permission, we would contact your midwife/ GP on your behalf, to refer you on to them.
